What does Beautiful mean?! Beautiful is defined by the beholder! That would be you, the girl that looks in the mirror back at you! Not society, your friends, television or magazines, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook or Twitter.

If you want to believe the lie then listen, society says you must be a model size. Fake nose, lips, and don’t forget to Photoshop your breast, butt and thighs! Let’s keep it real your face was not made for a book, it was made for real life.

You are not a Reality TV star or a Cover Girl Model. You really did wake up like this, so define your body, this is your reality, so live your life! Make up or Not, Love the skin you’re in! Whether you rock skirts, skinny jeans, high heels or chucks! Define your walk!

Be beautiful because of your personality, the way you define your individuality. You are not your flaws, your flaws don’t define you! Tell me who defines what a flaw is anyway! Quit buying it! Your worth ain’t for sale! You have value and it starts with self and ends with esteem! Emotional intelligence and Natural Beauty within.

To all my girls that are sky scraping Beautiful, walk with your head high, my tall sister, I see you! To all my shorty powerhouses, I see you too. My red head Sista, with freckles, hazelnut, mocha-chocolate, cantaloupe skinned, full lips, natural hair, curly or weave you better know who created the temple you live in! Beauty is as beauty does and I need you to look in the mirror and practice self-love!
