I am Destiny’s Child

Out to get mine,

I want to reach my goals and I refuse to waste my time.

Yeah, sometimes I sit here day dreamin’,

but all the while I know I will reach my destiny.

You see, I am Destiny’s Child!

I know knowledge is power and education is key.

College is definitely for me.

This is my path, my personal journey.

No man, woman, or child can hold me down.

I know confidence is not an attitude; it’s a state of mind.

You see I am the future…I’m Destiny’s Child.

I will prepare to reach my destiny,

making my dreams my realities

because I take my education seriously.

I know struggle is a part of my spiritual evolution,

but the sky is my limit. I am in it to win it,

and I must be ready for every opportunity and I know…

God leads me through my intuition and I will exceed all expectations.

You see I refuse to let myself down; and no one will steal my crown.

I realize my life is no dress rehearsal, it is my reality and I will never stop looking within.

I am not here to just  breathe. I am here to live creatively and responsibly.

Nothing or no one can turn  me around.

Can’t you see? I am the future; I am Destiny’s Child!
